I have recently come across a number of main-stream articles and prominent blog inquires on just this subject. You’d think this is not a “guy” topic, but it depends on who and where you are for it to matter. You can pretty much thank the boomers for getting our American society caught up in this quandary; but who would have guessed the political leaders in China are setting the pace for their country.

I have previously mentioned in this blog that as a young professional I lived in Las Vegas and worked for the City government. It was during those years that I exercised any fascination I may have had with gambling (penny slot machines if you must know the truth). If you have been following the entries in this blog, then you know that I have spent considerable electronic ink on the relational considerations between baby boomers and Generation X in the workplace. But now, I think it is worthy to note that in a recently released study of Generation Y, “The research depicts a pragmatic, future-oriented generation that holds many of the same values as its predecessors…”
