Antiques Roadshow is Coming to the Desert

Pardon by Boomer Speak, but I think it is really cool that Boston’s Public Radio Station’s Antiques Roadshow is coming to the Palm Springs Convention Center June 7, 2008, as part of its summer Roadshow Appraisal Tour.

I am anxious to watch the show when it airs at the beginning of the new season, to see all of the garage sale finds local residents have come up with. Remember the blog entry, “Do you brake hard for garage sales?” When, I explained that Garage and Estate Sales are one of the favorite pastimes of Desert residents; probably because there is such a unique eclectic mix of items that people have brought here from all over the county and world.

I want now to have my observation validated and be in a position to say, “Well, I told you so!” Just kidding… I am sure you readers take for granted the underlying veracity of all my blog statements… gee, if I could only get my wife to sign on for the same deal at home.
