Q: Does the County offer Veteran's Preference?

A: You should submit a copy your Member-4 Form DD-214, indicating dates of service, and a copy of your letter of disability (if applicable) to the Human Resources Department, either in person, or by mail. For privacy reasons, it is recommended that you remove your social security information from the veterans documents. A Human Resource Representative will review the materials and determine if you qualify for Veteran's preference. If taking a special test, (online, written exam or other), inform the recruiter of your veteran status.
