The HIPAA Privacy and Compliance Office provides both clients and employees a resource and single point of contact within the County to obtain information on HIPAA. Clients and employees may file related complaints if they cannot resolve concerns at the department level. This office is responsible for implementing and maintaining HIPAA-related countywide policies and procedures as specified in the regulations.
