Score Retrieval Troubleshooting

Problem: I'm trying to sign on and nothing happens. The system keeps returning to the same screen.
Solution: Your browser may not be set up to accept browser cookies - specifically per-session Cookies (Microsoft Internet Explorer).

To accept cookies and turn the notification feature off in the standard browsers, follow the instructions below:

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0-5.5

1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.
2. In the dialog box, click the Security tab.
3. Be sure the Internet Web content zone is selected (the globe icon).
4. The default selection of Medium allows cookies to be stored. You can verify cookie options by clicking Custom Level. In the cookies section, be sure Enabled is checked for Allow Cookies That Are Stored On Your Computer and Allow Per-Session Cookies (not stored).
5. Click OK to close the dialog box.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0

To customize your privacy settings for an individual Web site:

1. Go to the Tools menu and click Internet Options.
2. Choose the Privacy tab and click Edit.
3. In Address Of Web Site, type the complete address of the Web site for which you want to specify custom settings.
4. To specify that you want Internet Explorer to always allow cookies from the specified Web site to be saved on your computer, click Allow.
5. Click OK to close the Per-Site Privacy Actions dialog box.
6. Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.

Problem: My first or last name won't fit in the fields and I cannot retrieve my score. (Usually occurs with a hyphenated last name).
Solution: There's a 15-character maximum (including hyphens and spaces) in our scanning and scoring software. For example, our system will read "Williams-Johnson" as Williams-Johnso."

Problem: My password won't fit. My last name and the last four digits of my Social Security number exceed the limit in the password field.

Problem: I use a trailer in my name, (i.e, Jr., Sr.). When I type my last name using the trailer, I receive the error message: "cannot verify user name or password".
Solution: Our system cannot read commas in the name fields.
