To be a leader in innovative workforce development programming focused on growing our own employees, building partnerships, and eliminating the existing skills gap in today’s workforce. Emphasis is on bridging tomorrow’s recruiting and retention demands with today’s employees and college students through the provision of resources necessary to become educated, knowledgeable, and skilled.
Program Goals
We believe that investing in an employee's career growth offers the best solution to attracting and retaining the most qualified candidates. The Educational Support Program works with Departments to determine their needs for the workforce of today and tomorrow. Career Counselors are available to work with employees to identify their County career goals and determine how the Educational Support Program may assist with challenges one faces when returning to college. Our college relations team collaborates with local schools, universities, and students to build new relationships, strengthen existing partnerships, and bring innovative programs to County employees.
