The Riverside County Human Resources Optimal Health & Wellness Program was established to maximize the health and wellness of all Riverside County employees. By offering a workplace environment that is conducive to promoting health conscious choices, research shows that the overall wellbeing of Riverside County employees will improve, resulting in increased job satisfaction, morale, and productivity.

The development and implementation of the Wellness Program is designed to promote an environment that is conducive to empowering our employees to make positive lifestyle choices.

Mission Statement

To provide to all Riverside County employees a workplace that encourages and promotes healthy lifestyle choices leading to optimal health and well-being. The Wellness Program will engage and empower employees to improve their health and fitness to achieve a better quality of life, while reducing health care costs and resulting in a more productive workforce.
