If you cannot get to a physical activity class on your lunch break there are MANY other ways for you to earn Activity Points, such as:
- Participation in any gym or physical activity program - log 3 workouts per week for 1 point
- Participation in either Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig - 1 point for every three visits or weigh-ins
- Participation in ANY Lifestyle Improvement or Lifestyle Management Group through your Health Care Provider - contact a member of the wellness team to discuss your particular program and it's point value
- Participation in organized sporting events or recreational hobbies that are cardiovascular in nature - log 3 workouts per week for 1 point
- If you are a BlueShield Member and still eligible for the Healthy Lifestyle Rewards Program contact the wellness office for a 'HRL Coaching Journal' - log 3 workouts per week for 1 point
- Use of www.mydailyplate.com for logging and journaling of food and fitness activities - log either 3 workouts or physical activities per week for 1 point
PLEASE NOTE IF YOU PLAN ON LOGGING MULTIPLE TYPES OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY YOU NEED TO USE THE PEP PHYSICAL ACTIVITY LOGS OR ELECTRONIC LOGGING. PARTICIPANTS MAY NOT COMBINE THE WALKING LOGS WITH THE PEP PHYSICAL ACTIVITY PROGRAM LOGS.
Logs can be generated from the PEP Program - Physical Activity or Health Eating Link to the left or you can use the My Daily Plate Website to generate your food logs.
