Health Fairs

Health Seminars
The noon-time seminar energizes you in the middle of the day with an educational spark! These seminars cover a comprehensive list of topics including weight management, diabetes, stress management to smoking cessation, and others. Check out our calendar of events.

Lifestyle Management Groups
Designed for employees with high risk such as diabetes, asthma, etc. to meet on a monthly basis. County policy allows one to use sick or annual leave to attend these groups, as you would for medical appointments. For more information click on the Lifestyle Management link to the left, in the navigation bar.

One-on-One Consultation
For employees who have multiple health risks, the Wellness Program offers comprehensive physician counseling inluding care, disease and case management, one-on-one lifestyle consultation, as well as ongoing monthly group visits. Contact us by email  to set up an appointment.

Targeted Departmental Programs

Walking Clubs

Worksite "House Calls" or "Visits"
In order to increase access to the services provided by the county's Wellness Program, we are offering a new component to county employees.  We will be instituting - on a limited basis - worksite "house calls" or "visits."  Staff from the wellness program will be able to provide brief vists that would involve health assessments and tips on what can be done to improve health from a lifestyle perspective.  Visits are under 15 minutes in duration and will be done on Tuesdays.  We request that all employees interested in this program, please set up an appointment, by email, in advance with the wellness office.
